Our restaurant group is rallying to support March for Babies on May 3rd in honor of our friend & colleague Matt Morris. Matt is Director of Facilities for our restaurant group and oversees the building and maintenance of all of our restaurants in our portfolio.
This year, Matt, Christie Morris and their children will lead the 2014 March for Babies fundraiser for the March of Dimes on May 3 in Stamford. The Morris family will be the 2014 ambassadors in the benefit for the March of Dimes. Matt and Christie Morris and their children Katie, 10, Anessa, 6, and Connor, 3, will lead the group at 10 a.m. May 3 at Commons Park at Harbor Point in Stamford. The Morris family will walk in honor of their son, Jack, who lost his battle with premature birth in 2006. They have led the team “Jack’s Angels” since 2006 and have raised more than $25,000 for the March of Dimes.
“Our three children are extremely active and busy today. Katie has performed in nine theatrical productions in southern Fairfield County, dances, sings, plays soccer, violin – you name it, she does it,” said Christie Morris. “Anessa is larger than life – she is an incredible kindergartner who sings, dances and lights up everyone’s world. Our 3-year old, Connor, keeps us laughing and plays with everything – sports, superheroes, cars – you name it.”
