Chef Eric Stagl in West Hartford just introduced this delicious light bite to the menu for all to enjoy. It is so simple yet so delicious. For those of you who are interested in incorporating a new hors d’oeuvre on your home entertaining menu, this is perfect.
All you need is:
• Whipped sheep’s cheese
• Shaved black truffle peelings
• White truffle oil
• Salt & pepper
Mix all of the above ingredients and spread on ½’ piece of rustic bread. Take one duck egg and cook it sunny side up. When it is prepared, take the egg and place on top of the bread with cheese mixture.
Super easy.
